LOCAL STREETS
Start with Armory Square
Syracuse connects canal-era streets with neighborhood kitchens, independent bookshops and a busy university arts scene. Start downtown, then make time for a different neighborhood.

The former industrial district now groups shops, restaurants and entertainment around the historic armory. Choose an exhibition at the Everson Museum, then plan lunch downtown. Check museum hours and admission separately from the restaurant.
Leave yourself a little room.
